This is the pH of the water collected from the shallow detectors.I was surprised to see how low the pH was - less the 5 in the NaCl plots! The plot irrigated with washing powder started a bit higher (5.7) and increased to 6.5. The washing machine water had a pH of 9.5 .

Any idea why the pH of the NaCl plot was so low? What was the starting pH of the soil?
